Agreement

If you do not wish to engage in either of the above activities, please do not provide any personally identifiable information on or through the website.

In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), AAS will NOT knowingly collect personally identifiable information from persons under the age of 13.  If ASS discovers that someone under the age of 13 has provided personally identifiable information, it will be deleted as soon as reasonably practicable.

AAS may also automatically collect non-personally identifiable information in conjunction with a person’s visit to the website; such as, browser type, operating system and Internet Protocol [“IP”] address. AAS uses “cookie” technology: a small text file that is stored on the user’s computer by a website. Among other functions, “cookies” store a website user’s preferences and settings so as to enhance the user’s experience in using the website. User obligations

In addition, you are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations with respect to your use of the Sites. Information Use

AAS will use personally identifiable information collected from website visitors solely for the purpose collected (i.e., responding to the inquiry about possibly hiring AAS and determining suitable services for a prospective client or in conjunction with possibly posting a comment/reply to a blog/send periodic newsletters, as the case may be), unless the box is checked indicating that the user would like to receive future communications from AAS.  If AAS is interested in perhaps using a website visitor’s personally identifiable information for any other purpose, AAS shall secure the written consent of the website visitor prior to doing so.

AAS may also combine personally identifiable information collected on or through the website with information AAS has collected via other sources.

AAS will use non-personally identifiable information for a range of analytical and recordkeeping purposes; among other objectives, the non-personally identifiable information may be used by AAS to gauge the effectiveness of the website and improve the functioning of the website. The servers that make this website available and store information collected on or through the website are located in the United States. Persons located outside of the United States should be mindful that their personally identifiable information will be transferred to the United States and that the United States may not feature the same degree of protection of information as the laws of their home country. By submitting personally identifiable to AAS on or through the website, the website visitor expressly understands and agrees to the transfer of his/her personally identifiable information to the United States.

Additional Conditions Regarding Posting Comments/Replies to Blogs

A website visitor must provide personally identifiable information (his/her full name and e-mail address) in order to submit a comment/reply to a blog for possible posting.  Your comment/reply will be attributed to you based on your first name only; your name and e-mail address will not be disclosed publicly.

You shall fully and truthfully identify yourself to AAS if interested in posting a comment/reply without misrepresentation of any kind. Without limiting the preceding, do not impersonate other persons relative to posting comments/replies.

The content of the comment/reply shall not:

(3) Include any content that is of a confidential nature or a trade secret (and you understand and agree that ASS does not have any fiduciary duty, duty of confidentiality or the like to you with respect to your comment/reply);

(4) Include SPAM, any commercial advertisement, charitable solicitation, the solicitation of funds/donations, or otherwise promote any commercial or non-profit/charitable entity;

(5) Advocate violence, illegal gambling/wagering, or any act which is illegal under local, state, federal or other law.

In all cases, the user bears sole responsibility for the content of any comment/reply that he/she posts on the website. ASS is functioning as a passive conduit for the posting user comments/replies.
